The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), in coordination with the offices of Alderman Reboyras 30th ward, Alderman Villegas 36th ward, and Alderman Cardona 31st ward are pleased to announce the start of the construction of the Fullerton Avenue Improvement. Construction Start – March/April 2023

Construction Completion – Anticipated Fall 2024

Construction Meetings will be held weekly. These will be a hybrid in person/ remote access meeting. The public is welcome to attend to ask questions, discuss concerns and find out what is happening next! The meetings will be weekly on Thursdays at 11:00 am. The first meeting will be held March 9, 2023 . Project Description
Improvements include pedestrian refuge islands, curb bump-outs, high visibility crosswalks, sidewalk and curb and gutter replacement, pavement patching and resurfacing, new street lighting and parkway trees. These streetscape improvements enhance pedestrian safety and walkability, repair and upgrade infrastructure, and support overall economic development of the surrounding area.
