Section 2 – 90th to 87th, Current Status: Completing Detailed Design

Construction expected in 2024.

Project Description:

Design Area: Commercial Ave, 83rd Street to South Chicago Ave and 92nd Street, Anthony to South Harbor

The scope of this CDOT led project includes streetscape improvements on 83rd Street to South Chicago Ave and 92nd Street, Anthony to South Harbor. The project will provide safe, walkable, and attractive streets that will foster community and economic growth.  This effort will support the City’s initiative to re-activate neighborhood cores that have historically served as focal points for pedestrian activity, shopping, services, transportation, public spaces and quality-of-life amenities for local residents.
