Project Description:
The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) is conducting a streetscape improvement project along Lincoln Avenue from Western Avenue to Catalpa Avenue, including Catalpa Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to Western Avenue. Building off the 2019 Lincoln Square Master Plan and Ainslie Arts Plaza, the project aims to increase safety, improve walkability, support community and economic development, enhance public spaces, including the Ainslie Arts Plaza, and support Aldermanic plans to create the Lincoln Avenue North Arts (LANA) District in the area.

Project Area:  Lincoln Ave. from Western Ave. to Catalpa Ave. and Catalpa Ave. from Lincoln Ave. to Western Ave.

Status:
* Section 1 (Lincoln, Foster to Catalpa and Catalpa, Lincoln to Western): Pre-construction
* Section 2 (Lincoln, Western to Foster including Ainslie Arts Plaza): Final Design in Progress
