Catalpa Plaza: Clark to Ashland

The scope of this streetscape project includes design engineering services for the creation of a plaza on Catalpa Avenue between Clark and Ashland. The project will provide a pedestrian plaza that will foster community and economic growth and will provide opportunities for community gatherings and events. CDOT has conducted an initial public meeting and survey. Based on initial public input, the new pedestrian plaza space should feature specialty lighting, screening from adjacent parking lots, landscaping, custom furniture, and other unique elements to create a destination in the neighborhood and attract pedestrians to the area.
