Request a Safe Routes or Bicycling Ambassador
Bike Ambassadors travel all over the City of Chicago educating people about pedestrian and bicycling safety. Bike Ambassadors offer presentations, safety literature, and bicycle activities at parks, schools, block parties, street festivals, and many more locations and events.
Safe Routes Ambassadors work in Chicago’s public and private schools, offering educational presentations about walking and bicycling safety. Presentations are tailored to 2nd grade, 5th grade, and high school driver’s education students. Safe Routes Ambassadors are available to speak with PTA, staff/faculty, and LSC groups as well.
Safe Routes Ambassadors also offer dynamic Safe Routes for Seniors programming. These presentations provide tools for seniors to navigate 311, reach out to elected officials, access transportation resources, and select safe routes through their neighborhoods.
Please note: We will respond to your request within three (3) days. Requests must be received at least three weeks before the event date. You may also request an ambassador via fax or US mail.
